What’s your everyday jewelry essential?
My everyday jewelry is usually a couple of rings, a necklace and a few bracelets, depending on what I’m wearing. I tend to stick with the same combination for a few weeks or even a month, and then change it up for a new set.
Do you prefer silver, gold - or a mix of both?
I used to wear mostly gold, but lately I’ve really been into silver. I don’t really have a preference though – I’m happy to mix the two as well.
What makes a piece of jewelry feel timeless to you?
To me, a piece feels timeless when you can wear it year after year and always come back to it. Something that naturally finds its way into your jewelry rotation, no matter how your style changes.
Bold or minimal?
I used to be more into bold and iconic pieces, but these days I lean more towards minimal jewelry. I still like pieces that add a bit of color or something extra to an outfit though. It also depends on the season.
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name Ragbag?
Pieces that feel simple and wearable, but still have something distinctive about them.
What was your first Ragbag piece, when did you get it and why did you choose that?
I think my first Ragbag piece was the Odette earrings, which I still really love. I usually wear two in the same ear and something different in the other. I love how elegant they are, while still feeling perfect for everyday wear.
Who or what has influenced your personal style the most?
My style is always evolving, so I wouldn’t say there’s one specific person or thing that has influenced it the most. I love finding inspiration in all kinds of places, but there are certain silhouettes and pieces I always come back to.
Which pieces in your wardrobe have become your go-to’s?
Definitely simple chains that I can layer and stack, both necklaces and bracelets. I also have a necklace with my son’s initials and a little black stone heart that I never want to be without now.
How or when did your relationship with jewelry begin?
I think my relationship with jewelry started when I was really young. I remember noticing the jewelry worn by the women around me. My grandmothers had pieces that felt special and personal to them, and I was always fascinated by women wearing bangles that made little sounds when they moved, charm bracelets and beautiful clip-on earrings.
What stone is your favorite in the Stone Charm?
Probably the two on one end – the white and light blue. I think they’re timeless and soft, but I honestly love them all.
What is your best advice for a good jewelry staple?
Choose something that feels like you and that you can wear with almost anything. A good jewelry staple should be something you naturally keep coming back to, without having to think too much about it.
